They were originally known as King Davis House Rockers, in 1972, then the Brooklyn Trucking Express. As a seven piece band they signed to Sid Maurer and Fred Frank's brand new Roadshow Records label and Do It ('Til You're Satisfied) was their first release (and the first release on the label), it was an instant hit reaching # 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually earned the group a gold disc.
