I think the suffix .O. on their name stands for Ohio, maybe they left it that way so as not to interfere with the acronym G.O.D. Its secular meaning (very different from the limited and confining religious one) makes for a great moral message type dance track, from a time when Gospel was being issued, without division, alongside other music. The group was formed in 1954 and recorded some of their classiest infectious hand-clapping, foot-tapping, good old country gospel singing, they also recorded for the Texas label Avant.
