A title that sounds like it maybe a Jimmy Castor type cut Good Thing Man was the first release on the Washington DC based ICA label. The record is reported to have sold a million copies, no doubt it sold well as it was reissued on # 011 with a different, less problematic, B side than I Want My Mule Back ="I'm gonna tell you about my mule, My woman is my mule, because when it comes to lovin, she's a hardworkin fool"!
NB This Frank Lucas is not the same Frank Lucas historicized in the film American Gangster. (Although it is a coincidence that drug dealers also use the term 'mules'!)
