A Funky Blues cut from Jazz organist Rubin Wilson, who formed a trio Wildare Express in New York during 1966 and began recording for Blue Note at the end of the decade. But it was Got To Get Your Own that brought Wilson into the limelight, at least as far as the UK was concerned, the record was a big hit hear and in Europe, and again a decade later for the 'rare groove' generation. The record was originally released on the Cadet label in the US, as well as recording for Cadet and Blue Note he was also released on Groove Merchant.
