I'VE GOT TO HELP MY PEOPLE * ARTHUR ADAMS * BLUE THUMB 219 * USA

Born in Tennessee on December 25th Arthur Adams started out singing Gospel then in the late 1950's he played Blues in and around Dallas. His Blues got mellower and in the 1960's he found himself recording in a Soul vein for labels like Jamie and Modern, his big hit came in 1969 with It's Private Tonight, for Chisa, by that time Arthur Adams had become something of a slick and Funky, Soulster, although this gritty track points to what would be his eventual return to the Blues in the late 1980's.
