Picture covers for 45s only really started to become standard issue in Britain during the second half of the 1970s on the back of the Punk and New Wave boom. At first it was only Rock bands that were given an illustrated sleeve by the major's, but buy the time this excellent record by Roy Young was issued Soul music records were also sold with picture sleeves.
