Barbara Acklin's solo record debut came in 1966 when she was 23, the following year she moved to Brunswick where she stayed until 1973, releasing over a dozen singles. Written by Eugene Record and Sandra Drayton and produced by Carl Davis Love, You Are Mine Today, a stunningly beautiful up tempo ballad, was to be her penultimate release for the label, and a B side at that!
