Oh, this has to be one of my 'Desert Island Disc's', it's a heady combination of 99% Soul and 99% Gospel, brimming over with so much sentimentality, that I not only wallow in self pity and chagrin, I nearly drown in it . . . fantastic. This Detroit-based, traditionally trained, black gospel group formed in the 1960s and were the first traditional gospel group to incorporate soul, jazz, and rock into their music. This record, along with I Belong to You, were two Stax singles that gave the group chart success in 1979.
