It seems 100% Pure Poison were a group of American army personnel based in Germany, who, as the story goes, forged passes to leave camp and go to a music conference, where they signed for EMI! This fortuitous outing led to the recording of their only album Coming Right At You from which this bittersweet mid tempo Soul ballad You Keep Coming Back was taken.
