Possibly written by Lecon Cogill, and Carlton Barrett, it was recorded at Harry J studios and produced by Chris Blackwell and Bob Marley, and released on the Natty Dread album in England. "Them belly full, but them hungry" is as striking and incisive a piece of poetry as was ever written, and said, in that couplet, as much about the condition of folk in those days of unrest in Jamaica during the mid-seventies as it does in a different context about the multitude in the west today
