FIGHT THEM * LITTLE ROY * CAMEL 52 * UK

This was Little Roy's fourth of five sides on the Camel label, all of which he cut for Lloyd Daley. Earl Lowe, a.k.a  Little Roy, followed the Rastafarian faith while still in his teens, and many of his early songs reflect this in their titles as much as their lyrics. After working with various producers Little Roy sought more control over his work and founded the Tafari and Earth labels with  Lloyd Barnes and Munchie Jackson, but it was with Lee Perry in 1974 that he wrote and cut the original Tribal War a recording that has since become a stand out track by others including John Holt.
