Prince Far I was born Michael James Williams, in 1944 or 1945, Spanish Town, he was also known as King Cry Cry. His first record was cut for Bunny Lee called The Great Booga Wooga. The above produced by Joe Gibbs was a critique of the 'Get tough' policy by Michael Manley's PNP party, and the success of this record helped him set up his own label called Cry Tuff. Prince Far I was murdered the 15th of September 1983.
