Born Kingston, Jamaica 1951, Errol Dunkley, a genuine child prodigy, recorded his first disc, a duet with Roy Shirley, Gypsy for Lindel Pottinger's Gaydisc label, at fourteen years of age, and yet, after forty years of fine recordings, he still remains another obscure Reggae artist. In the early 1970's, as a way of protecting his financial and creative interests, he teamed up with Gregory Isaacs to form the African Museum label. Then, after splitting with Isaacs, Errol tried his hand at another label, unable, though, to find success as a producer, in 1972 he recorded two best sellers, the above, and Black Cinderella, for Jimmy Radway.
