Channel 1 began producing and releasing records during 1973, it was an extension of the Channel 1 Sound System, run by Earnest and Joseph 'Joe Joe' Hookim, which had begun a few years earlier. Stand Firm is an early Channel 1 pressing with a distinctive and colourful label, it's a brief (2.10) but fine cut from The Tidals (sic).
