GOLDEN LOCKS * UPSETTERS * MAGNET 27 * UK
Originally released in the UK on the Dip label, this is the
version side of Junior Byles big hit Curly Locks. Curly Locks is a well
known nursery rhyme: Curly-locks,
Curly-locks, wilt thou be mine?
Thou shalt not wash the dishes, nor yet feed the swine;
But sit on a cushion, and sew a fine seam,
And feed upon strawberries, sugar, and cream. But
in this Lee Perry production the 'Curly Locks' refer to the 'Dread
Locks' of the Rastafarians.
