A C. Paterson production with King Tubby - the first sound engineer to be credited on record as the artist - at the mixing desk, and as is well known, he was the most influential pioneer of the Version or Dub sound that became such an original contribution to Popular music world wide. Psalms Of Dub - the Greek word Psalmoi originally meant "songs sung to a harp" - is over Not Responsible a vocal harmony track by Carlton (Patterson) & Leroy (Smith) and issued in JA on Black & White (see below).
Psalms Of Dub was also reissued on Black & White in 1977 - by which time Patterson's name had appeared in the writers credit - as Psalms Of Love with Ah You Me Love, a Dillinger cut on the rhythm on the flip. (see below).
