UNKNOWN INSTRUMENTAL * RAMA 608 * UK
Records on the Rama label were issued from the mid to late 1970s, and provided the most minimal amount of information, on both 45s and album's, and even some of that could be misleading! The bold A that can be seen once existing in the centre, which usually denotes the A side, has the same A on the other side. This particular record has the number 609 written on the label, yet it is in fact number 608. Why the label should be so lacking in information is hard to guess, it could be that the records were masquerading as Jamaican 'Pre's' which were usually blank label pressings, or it could be that they were bootlegs and were issued enormously to avoid detection, whatever, there are some good Dubs, and instrumentals to be found on the label.
