IN THE BEAUTIFUL CARIBBEAN * NEW RELIGION * BAMBOO 70 * UK

A Junior Lincoln / Coxsone Dodd production. According to the record label this was the theme song from the play 'In The Beautiful Caribbean'. The song is a haunting cautionary tale (allegory) of a fisherman on a calm sea with seemingly unaware of approaching danger. This was the final issue on the Bamboo label, which had begun in 1969 with the Ken Parker track My Whole World Is Falling Down and throughout its run issued some of the finest Coxsone Dodd tracks of the early Reggae period.
