PICK UP THE PIECES * THE ROYALS * WAMBESI * JA

Born 1945 in Cockburn Pen Kingston, Roy Cousins formed the Royals in 1964,  the group included Bertram Johnson, Keith Smith and Errol Wilson. Although they recorded for Reid and Dodd their first release Never See Come See was for Joe Gibbs in 1968.  This is Roy Cousins initial release after a self imposed two year break from recording. The record was popular enough for Dodd to release a first cut of the song he had languishing in his vaults, which also became popular at time.
