The song is not, strictly speaking, either Rastafari, didactic or Roots spiritual, in fact it's a song about betrayal and loss in a relationship. I have put it on this page because Cornel Campbell's voice is, for me, spiritual per se, and although he is singing about 'mundane' and terrestrial matters the overall affect is divine.
