MY WHOLE WORLD IS FALLING DOWN * KEN PARKER * BAMBOO 1 * UK

Originally Sung by William Bell on the flip side of All God's Children Got Soul: Stax 0032, Ken Parker sings it in a sweet falsetto voice, to a bouncy early Reggae beat. This was the first issue on the UK Bamboo label launched slightly earlier than its sister label Banana, both of which were set up to help cope with the abundence of Studio 1 releases being released in JA. The late 1960s and early 1970s was a boom time for Jamaican music production with something like one hundred to one hundred and fifty titles being released every week on the island; the mind boggles doesn't it.
