The Paragons are more commonly associated with Duke Reid's Treasure Isle label, with class Rock Steady cuts, like: Only A Smile and The Tide Is High, but they also recorded for Dodd during the time they were with Treasure Isle. The group originally consisted of Garth 'Tyrone' Evans, Bob Andy, Leroy Stamp and Junior Menz, then from 1966 it was, Garth 'Tyrone' Evans, Howard Barrett and John Holt. There are about twelve known sides recorded for Coxsone, this one is boss. John Holt did this as a solo later, it can be heard on his LP, this is the original version.
