Although it's a mystery what the original was, You Gonna Hold Me is a Version of a male (group?) vocal cut based on the Rulers Don't Be A Rude Boy rhythm After an electric organ led intro the vocals at the beginning start with: "Someday I'm gonna hold you tight, someday I'm gonna squeeze you right." The vocal can be heard way down in the mix throughout but we get an nice clear chunk of them every little while making for a great, if tantalizing, Version cut.
