Another top blast from the underrated Shorty The President a.k.a. Shorty Perry, this is another toast over the My Conversation rhythm, only instead of talking about 'mashing up the resident' he's name checking John Steed and Emma Peel, who were two unlikely characters in the cult TV series The Avengers.
Tthe B side of this record is a bit of an enigma, it's the same rhythm that seems to have been either speeded up, it plays at the right pace on 33.RPM, or is played at a faster tempo, but with a trombone break added that is in the slower groove! All very perplexing.
The record was also released in the UK on the Lord Koos label as by Tommy McCook and Jimmy Ellis and produced by Leroy Palmer! (see below).
