FLAT FOOT HUSTLINGS * DILLINGER * THIRD WORLD 65 * UK

Produced by Ninny, Dillinger launches his toasting on this brooding cut from opening stanza of The Temptations 1972  recording Papa Was  Rolling Stone, and in essence, though not lyrically, he weaves in and out of that song. The whole thing is a complex mix of different content and influences, the rhythm, or original song Dillinger is Dee Jaying over comes through as a very dark and moody recording, with what seems an unrelated portion of the song "Here I come again" breaking through at intervals and all the while Dillinger's position  presents himself as victim and hero whilst articulating, in real speak, the trials and tribulations of a sufferer . . great sound, great sentiments.
