The next side to Mama Said, this is nothing more than a teen Pop song, but the harmonizing of Shirley Owens and the girls gives it the all important edge which is the difference between the ordinary and what is the goods. None the less The Shirelles had more records on the Pop charts than on the R&B, which was no bad thing for them or for the label, except, just maybe, the taste of that sort of success for the artist can have its trade off.
