Roddy, or Roddie, Joy, aka Rita Coleman was a resident of Detroit during the 1960s. Come Back Baby, a mid tempo ballad with a reedy sounding organ break and a girl vocal chorus, was her debut release, issued in the US on Red Bird with the same catalog number. She had two more singles released on Red Bird and four on Parkway making a total of seven in all, but this was her only UK release.
