Written and produced by Curtis Mayfield and originally released on his Mayfield label in the USA, Girls Are Out To Get You was released three times in the UK, the Stateside release was the first, closely followed by Sue, then by Mojo. The girls: Shirley Walker, Joanne Levell, Bernadine Boswell and Fern Bledsoe, first recorded for ABC in 1962, this was the third of six releases for Mayfield.
