A solid Soulful cover of the Chuck Jackson original, that was also covered, in a more up-tempo cut than Anna King's, by Perlean Gray.
Unbelievably this track was never released as a 45 in the States, all of the other tracks on this top EP were and all of which are James Brown productions. Anna Delores King (1937 - 2002) first solo release was In Between Tears in 1961 for Malibu, and she seemed to have ended her brief recording career in 1965, yet these sides and the handful of other singles she released in her oeuvre are enough to make a valid contribution to the history of Soul.
