The outstanding original version of I Don't Want To Have To Wait was released in September 1966 as a B side! It was Barbara's 5th release, and her only one for Cadet, her first was for Wil Mo and then three for Stax. None of her records were released in the UK at the time but we did have the excellent cover of I Don't Want To Have To Wait, which was also released as a B side, and can be found on the flip of Let Love Come Between Us by James & Bobby Purify (see below).
