Margie Hendrix was a member of The Cookies, who backed many of the Atlantic recording artists including Ray Charles. She left the Cookies in 1956 to become one of Ray Charles' backing group The Raeletts, and was replaced by Margaret Ross. The Raeletts were a quartet with a changing line up - it is said that 'Brother Ray', a bit of old an old goat around the girls, used the casting couch method to recruit new singers in the group. Mary Ann Fisher takes lead on this cut, released on Ray Charles' own Tangerine label.
