This is the B side of The Cookies first release for Carol King and Jerry Goffin's Dimension label USA; based in New York the label only ran to some 51 issues, but, due to the song writing talents, youth and hipness of Goffin and King, was very influential especially, for girl groups, in the early 1960s. Written by Goffin/King the song Stranger In My Arms was revered by Northern Soul fans when it was covered, and also issued as a B side, by Country singer Lynne Randell.
