TAKE ME IN YOUR ARMS * KIM WESTON * TAMLA MOTOWN 538 * UK
For some reason Kim Weston's records never sold well in the UK even though she toured there in, her duets with Marvin Gaye had more success. The above, complete with misaligned label, was her third British release; the second on Tamla Motown. Kim Weston was born Agatha Natalie Weston in Paradise Valley, (know by those who lived there as 'The Bottom') in Detroit, Michigan, and sang with The Wright Specials before her debut release It Should Have Been Me for Tamla in 1963.
