WHAT'S EASY FOR TWO IS SO HARD FOR ONE * MARY WELLS * MOTOWN 1048 * USA
Written and produced by William 'Smokey' Robinson, who's protégée she was at the time, and released in the US August 1963 and in the UK November 63, What's Easy For Two Is So Hard For One was Mary Wells penultimate release on Motown.
With its distinctive 'bouncy' start it was this 'B' side that was played out and a favorite with dancers in the big ballroom style dances in London and was still being played late into the following year, a status that, back in the days of fast changing fashions and sounds, very few records enjoyed.
