Barbara Lynn had eight singles released on Atlantic between 1967 and 1973, this was her second for the label, a mid tempo ballad which has a catchy musical riff similar to L. J Reynold's The Penguin Breakdown. You're Losing Me was written by Barbara Lynn, as were most of her recordings, though the B side, another good cut, was not written by her.
