Formed c.1965 the Maytones were Vernon Buckley and Gladstone Grant, they recorded the above for Alvin, 'G G' Ranglin, and later changed their name to the Mighty Maytones, similar to the change by the Diamonds, to the Mighty Diamonds. Issued as the B side to Man From Carolina, the record was pressed up with two different label designs; see below.
