Written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff I've Got The Groove was first recorded by The O'Jays and released as a B side on Neptune records in 1969. On this version George Faith sticks close to the original lyrics but the song has a very different feel when producer Lee Perry bringing a heavy stepping rhythm turning it into a fine Lovers Rock cut.
