Dobby Dobson's songs are lyrically closer to the Western Pop tradition than many of his Jamaican contemporaries though they still have that particular reasoning often found in most of the music from the genre. Love For Ambition is a nice Early Reggae cut with the haunting sound of a swirling organ behind Dobby Dobson's admonishments to his unfaithful paramour.
