TULIPS * OLIVER ST. PATRICK AND PHYLLIS DILLON * TROJAN 005 * UK

Oliver St Patrick is another of those mystery names that appear on Jamaican records from time to time. This Duke Reid production belongs to the first run of Trojan label issues in the UK, the label was set up by Island records as another outlet, along with the Treasure Isle label, for the many Arthur 'Duke' Reid's Rock Steady releases coming from his Kingston studios. The imprint in this form only had a short run and was later reactivated with a new numbering system starting from 601 while keeping, for a while, the old all orange label design, only blacking out the words 'A Duke Reid production' underneath the logo.
