BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE * DON WOODY * MCA 240 * UK

Released on the Decca label #9-30277 in the US as the B side to Bird Dog his debut record, Barking Up The Wrong Tree is a fine slice of Rockabilly, with a good sense of humor. Unfortunately Decca dropped the him after this record, even though he had two more top sides ready for release: Make Like Rock And Roll and my particular favorite the mesmeric Morse Code. The above record was issued in the late 1970s when Rockabilly music was discovered more or less for the first time in the UK, it is backed by Peanuts Wilson Cast Iron Arm (more humor).
