Maybe Baby was recorded Sept, 1957 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. Background vocals were added later at Petty Studios in Clovis, NM. It was Written by Buddy Holly ( a.k.a. Charles Hardin) and [dubiously] Norman Petty. One of my favourites from Buddy Holly the song is a subtle conflation casual desire and speculation, that seems to be both 'teen' and mature at the same time.
