Danny, aka Daniel J. Rapp, who died in 1983 aged only forty two sang lead vocals in the short lived quintet Danny And The Juniors: Joe Terranova, David White, Frank and Bobby Maffei. Formed in 1955 and originally known as The Juvenairs, they had a world wide hit with their debut record At The Hop (originally titled Do the Bop) in 1957, first released on the Singular label it was picked up by the major ABC Paramount #9871. Released in February 1948 their follow up the tautological Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay, also released on ABC, was written by group member David White.
