SOMETHIN' ELSE * EDDIE COCHRAN * LONDON 8944 * UK

Written by Sharon Seeley (Eddie Cochran's girlfriend) and Bob Cochran, Eddie's older brother, Somthin' Else is a song true to the dreams and aspirations of many working class young men in the West, of wanting a flash car and a pretty girl.

Originally released on Liberty F 55203 in July 1959, Somthin' Else only reached #58 on the charts in the US but is voted #1 of all his recordings by Cochran fans, on the World Wide Top 100 page on the Remember Eddie Cochran site.
