Johnny Darrow was in fact Johnny Moore lead singer of The Drifters who, after this hiatus of some solo records on Melic and Sue, returned to the group; fuller history of Johnny Moore. This was the second of five records he cut for the Sue label and is a Blues written and originally recorded by Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller) for Checker in 1954. The Johnny Darrow version appeared in GB some time in 1964 on the Sue Story album issued on London.
