Solomon Burke cut some very successful Country flavoured Soul songs while with Atlantic, as did Arthur Alexandra at Dot, the above, a very sparse ballad, has Solomon singing to an acoustic guitar and a female backing group. This recording was never issued as a 45 in the UK, but it did appear on the excellent Rock 'n Soul album - with a picture on the cover of Solomon Burke looking the business - released on the new British Atlantic label # 5009.
