Earl Lewis and Clifton Wright were the only two of the original group that remained when they, along with John Felix, Alton Thomas and Billy Montgomery, cut this, their first on Bobby Robinson's Fury label. Bye Bye Baby an up-tempo jiver is the B side to the DooWop ballad, My Love Will Never Die, both of which were written by Earl Lewis, though no credits were given either side.
