Originally known as The Prisonairs, who cut the legendary Just Walkin' In The Rain for Sun records while still inmates at the Nashville State Penitentiary with the songs author Johnny Bragg singing lead vocals. Johnny Bragg sings lead on Rollin' Stone, the groups first recording after parting from Sun - although they were still in the shovel - other members are Edward Lee Thurmon, John Edward Drue, Henry Jones, Hal Hebb, Willie Wilson and Alfred Brooks. Johnny Bragg died of cancer just under a year ago in Tennessee age 79; I, like many, am thankful for what he has left of himself.
