Eric 'Monty' Morris recording career goes way back to the early days of the Jamaican recording industry when his friend Derrick Morgan cut his debut Lover Boy for Duke Reid in 1959, the success of which inspired him to record Now We Know for Hi-Lite that same year. Set to a Rock Steady beat, with a unknown female vocal accompaniment Tears In Your Eyes is a sorrowful tale of unrequited love written by Eric Morris and produced by Clancy Eccles.
