Although there's no mention of churches being on fire, Shenley (Duffus) and Millie (Small) take their lead from the Drifters 1955 Atlantic recording Whatcha Gonna Do, on this fine slice of early hard driving, pounding Jamaican R&B with excellent musical backing from the nascent Studio 1 band, including a sweet horn break.
