Little Roy a. k. a. Earl Lowe, was born in 1953, it is said that his first recording was Cool It, presumably by Tony Tuff, or Tough, for Studio 1 in 1968. By the early 1970s Earl Lowe was recording predominantly Rastafarian inspired songs, most notably Bongo Nayah for Lloyd Daley, who produced the above, and in 1972 he formed his own Tafari label.
